Alexander Faingold

Alex is a multi-disciplinary artist working in sound design for media (films, games, TV) as well as a music producer and musician. He grew up in Argentina and now lives and works from his studio 'Great Voltage' in East London.

He graduated in February 2024 from the National Film and Television School after completing a Masters degree in Sound Design for Film and Television. 

During this time Alex worked on a variety of award-winning short films including a Sundance Film Festival nomination, La Cinef at Cannes Film Festival prize winner and Vimeo staff picks winner for Bunnyhood (dir. Mansi Maheshwari, 2024)

Two Finalist nominations for the Oscars in the fields of Student Fiction and Student Documentary, Trouble (dir. Sarah Blok, 2024) and The Undertakers (Zac Lazarou, 2024)

As well as 'Best Short Film' prize at the London Short Film Festival 2025 for Going Down (dir. Aella-Jordan Edge, 2023)

He is currently freelancing on sound for film and commercial content as well as producing music for artists such as Damsel Elysium. 

He enjoys making music, writing stories and close creative collaborations.
